MANOR HOUSE COTTAGES Yaxley Manor is situated on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, less than a mile from Yaxley Hall. The original Manor, built for John Fanner in 1520 is of timber frame construction clad in brickwork laying in eight acres of garden and grazing. To the rear of the Manor House is the Courtyard where the barn cottages and coach house have been beautifully converted to holiday cottages. RUSHALL HOUSE This lovely old rectory has light and airy rooms and log fires add to the relaxed atmosphere. The bedrooms are classically decorated with a contemporary touch and beds are made up with white cotton sheets, feather duvets and crisply ironed pillow cases. Breakfasts include homemade preserves and blue shelled eggs from our hens. If guests arrive in the afternoon, tea and homemade cake are served in the drawing room or garden on sunny days.
